Me and my mates started nicking packets of cigarettes from
my mate’s parents’ when I was about 13. We used to smoke
at school or in the woods. It started off as peer pressure but
then I went off on my own and carried on. The longest time
I quit was about a year and then I started again because I
missed opening the packet of cigarettes.
Mini from a vape shop a mate worked in. It was the day after
my 30th birthday. I’ve not touched a cigarette since.
I have a heart condition but I hadn’t realised how unhealthy I
was at the time. But through vaping, I stopped wheezing and
could breathe better. Better still, I could run around with my
daughter.
Mad, I know.
When I was about 29, vaping came across my radar. I thought
it was just a fad but I started watching YouTube videos about
it and how the devices worked.
After I’d done the research, I picked up KangerTech Subox
46 VAPER EXPO
I started taking pictures of stuff I bought and began getting
friendly with the guys at Vape Town UK, including John @
prendi.vape who used to work there. We started liking each
other’s Instagram posts and then Vape Town became my
fi rst offi cial sponsor. I ran their Instagram and took pictures
of their products.
