“In 2014, The UK and European authorities have taken a very
proactive approach and had introduced the Tobacco Products
Directive whereby all nicotine products had to be tested to a certain
standard to be compliant. Nicotine levels were restricted to 20mg
whereas in the US there is no restriction. Public Health England is
also supporting vaping as 95% safer than smoking.
With regards to what’s going on in the US and some other
countries, rather than looking to react quickly and ban overnight
the fi rst successful alternative cessation device to smoking, they
should look to understand the cause and the issue that is being
linked to these deaths, then look to safely regulate the market.
These countries should follow the UK and European Tobacco
Product Directive as this would be the right approach. Overnight
bans on fl avoured e-liquids will not tackle the deaths linked to
underground counterfeit THC vaping and make smokers switch
back to cigarettes which are proven to be life threatening.”

“Headlines can be so damaging, putting at risk the health of so
many smokers debating whether to give up and switch to vaping.
All experts accept that vaping is not without risk but also believe
that for smokers there is no situation where it would be better to
continue smoking rather than switching completely to vaping
At Red Liquids, we work to the strictest of regulations and are
extremely proud that all of our liquids are manufactured in the UK
at our facility in Manchester – they’re really put to the test and our
details are publicly available on the MHRA website as a company
that submits products. Like all UK vape companies adopting
this process we offer full transparency and the highest levels of
corporate governance.”
