QUINTESSENTIALLY BRITISH
Red Liquids is proud of its British heritage as it strives to
improve quality standards throughout the industry
Red Liquids is pleased to be attending the Vaper Expo for the third
time in a row, fi rst as a relative newcomer with exciting development
plans and now as one of the fastest-growing e-liquids distributors
in the UK. We see the Red Liquids brand, and indeed that of our
growing sister businesses Red Box Vape and Red Box Vape on-line
(the retail store outlets and e-commerce capabilities respectively),
as standing for something quintessentially British – with our iconic
imagery of red telephone boxes, red buses and the union fl ag.
This positioning of our brand is vital to the growth of the business,
both organically and through our acquisition strategy. With the
current backdrop of fatalities and illness in the US as a result of
use of illegal substances, the quality controls imposed on British
manufacturers serve to make e-liquids manufactured in the UK
subject to the highest levels of quality control – the gold standard,
if you will.
We are very pleased that our brand development strategy is being
noticed and our promotions team ‘Red Liquid Girls’ have played
their part in securing customer engagement. We have won three
awards, were runner up in one and were also shortlisted for one:
Middle East Vape Show 2019 – Best Stand of the Year
Vape South America 2019 – Best Stand
Vapouround – Best up and coming brand 2019
Vapouround – Runner up – Best branding and marketing 2019
Vapouround – Shortlist for Best Juice of the Year 2019
It’s only been one year since the launch of our e-liquids range.
We have launched 21 Vape, Red CBD and slush in addition to our
Classics, Salts and 50/50, 40/60 ranges. And we have more in the
locker with 21 Salts coming soon. Our mixologists are continuing
to research and develop fl avours for our customer base.
Red Liquids, although having a strong domestic strategy, has an eye
on the global development of the brand and attended 15 international
vape expos in the last 12 months. This has led to deals with
distributors, including some of the largest in the vape industry,
which now sees the range being sold across fi ve continents
– with a mix of routes to market including wholesale, retail and
e-commerce.
Of particular success has been our acquisition strategy, spearheaded
by Red Box Vape. From a standing start, through acquisition and
modest growth we are on target for 44 retail stores throughout the
country this year and over 100 stores by the close of 2020.

We also believe in harnessing the power of all our colleagues
working in the community for the common good – to champion
calibration of quality standards throughout the industry,
something that is becoming increasingly important as a balance is
struck between facilitating smokers’ journeys to give up smoking
with ensuring vaping is a responsible solution. The need for the
industry to act as one voice to educate consumers and address
over-exited journalism reporting the dangers of vaping in the US
being a case in point.
We are therefore delighted that our Managing Director Mark Shaw
has been invited to join the Board of the IBVTA (Independent British
Vape Trade Association) representing the Red Box Group. Red Box
will also be hosting a round table discussion over dinner at the
Vaper Expo with industry colleagues as the fi rst in a number of
such discussions to harness collective experience at the coal face.
Last, but not least, we are pleased to report that Red Liquids will
be participating in the launch of a new collaboration with nzo at
this year’s Vape Expo. nzo is a new generation pod system – a
sleek, modern and portable device with, like the Red Box group, an
exciting global future. Red Liquids is delighted to be providing a
range of e-liquids for the pod system and to be working collegiately
at the nzo launch.
Working for consumer confi dence. A common cause.
The Independent British Vape Trade Association has stated:
The UK has a legitimate, credible and responsible vaping industry,
which has been subject to stringent regulatory requirements for
over three-and-a-half years now. Responsible businesses operate
on an open book basis and act collaboratively with regulators to
make sure that they are selling the safest products possible to
their customers.
“Now is the time for the independent industry to come together to
robustly defend our life changing product set. Independent businesses
like our own were the ones who brought vaping to the UK, and have
a long term interest in ensuring vaping fulfi ls its full potential. We
understand the consumer, and are best placed to create the products
that will inspire smokers to switch to vaping. We must all work together
to ensure that all smokers have this opportunity.”
Matthew Kersey, PR & Regulatory Manager, independent vape business
