Q&A
WITH VAPER EXPO
UK ORGANISERS JAY COX
AND LEE SKELDING
What does The Vaper Expo have in store for you this weekend? We sat down
with the event organisers to get the background on all things Expo – and got
their opinion on the US situation, too.
What can visitors expect this weekend?
Jay: As always, we will have our professional B2B day on Friday
where we have also requested all exhibitors not to play any music
at all.
Lee: On Saturday and Sunday we will have everything a consumer
visitor could want: from live acts on stage, to cloud competitions
in our theatre area. We have also been told by some exhibitors
that they are launching new products at the show, so be sure to
keep a look out!
How will it differ from the May Expo?
Jay: Every show we try and add something new for the visitors,
this time around we have added our seminar and theatre area. On
our B2B day this will host numerous talks from industry experts;
then on the two consumer days it will host cloud competitions,
talks on battery safety, Ohm’s Law and much more. Be sure to
check out the timetable in this show guide.
Lee: We have also added a Modders’ and Builders’ Area. We have
always had a build area at the show but have now doubled the
size so that modders will be able to showcase their amazing work.
What’s the deal with the cloud competition?
Jay: Cloud competitions will be in the theatre area on both Saturday
and Sunday, hosted by Paul Harrison from Endless Mods who will
also give talks on safety when building on RDAs. This will also be
a feature on his stand where he or some of his staff will be giving
tutorials, rewrapping batteries and educating visitors on all aspects
of advanced vaping.
