GY-4 is Grizwald’s take on the classic RY4 profi le, a blend of tobacco
and dessert elements. Unlike most RY4 mixes, this one focuses in
more on the tobacco top note. It’s a little darker than I would usually
expect, with mild smoked notes but not as pungent as a pipe tobacco.
This is complemented by a subtle caramel accent which pairs nicely
with the inherent sweetness of the tobacco. The profi le is fi nished out
with a mild vanilla which smoothes out the tobacco and amplifi es the
overall sweetness, without making this a true dessert tobacco blend.
A different spin on a classic profi le. Grizwald’s enigmatically describe Country Store as a blend of subtle
flavours including biscuit, dairy and popcorn. The main note here
for me is a buttery biscuit. It has a good amount of dark sweetness
and texture but is not as sweet as we might normally expect from a
bakery profi le. This is complemented by hints of vanilla and cream,
which add volume but not much sweetness to speak of. There’s a
slight bitterness to the fi nish, which is reminiscent of a light tobacco
but this note is quite subtle and diffi cult to defi ne. An interesting
bakery blend for those who prefer their e-liquids to be less sweet.
Menthol Tabac Strawberry Milkshake

Throat hit: Mild, with cooling VG/PG Ratio: 70/30

Throat hit: Mild
An extremely simple tobacco blend. Menthol and mint dominate this
mix. There’s a good helping of natural mint here, which provides a
baseline of herbal sweetness that quickly gives way to a moderate
dose of menthol. The tobacco takes a back seat and is a tad more
potent than something mild like a sweet virginia but not quite as
dark or aromatic as an Asian tobacco. The result is a beginner-
friendly tobacco menthol blend that should be ideal for those seeking
something less sweet than most commercial offerings. Dessert blends don’t get much simpler than strawberry milkshake,
so how does Grizwald’s fare? The top note in this case is a moderate
candy strawberry. It’s not quite as bright as I would usually expect in
this context but it is providing a good level of sweetness and some
sticky texture. This is supported by a heavier vanilla and cream base,
which gives a boost to the overall sweetness, along with additional
volume to the mouth-feel. A simple, but satisfying, dessert mix that’s
well-suited to new vapers.
Arctic Breeze Golden Burginia
VG/PG Ratio: 70/30
Additional sweetener: Minimal
Throat hit: Mild, with cooling VG/PG Ratio: 70/30

Throat hit: Moderate
The simplest of the Grizwald’s blends that I have sampled for review.
Arctic Breeze is billed as a mix of spearmint and menthol and that’s
precisely the effect it achieves. Spearmint is the more prominent part
of the profi le, providing some sweetness and herbal notes. This gives
way to a moderate menthol fi nish, resulting in a basic, but refreshing,
vape. Golden Burginia is described as a blend of multiple tobaccos. I was
expecting a rather simple profi le here but was mistaken. This is a
rich and complex tobacco mix that hits a lot of notes. There’s some
serious dark sweetness on offer, reminiscent of brown sugar, along
with darker spice and mild smoky notes. On the fi nish, there’s a boozy
note that’s quite similar to whisky. This does add a little throat hit
to the mix but nothing that I found to be off putting. An interesting
tobacco blend that should please fans of more adventurous profi les.
