Where do we go from here?
May’s Vaper Expo more than delivered on its promise of
being a ‘Big Weekend.’

As ever, Friday was the B2B day while the evening was reserved for the
fourth annual Vapouround Awards. The ceremony saw 600 guests
celebrating the best and brightest of our industry while enjoying a
truly extraordinary show that featured all the glitz, glamour, music
and magic that the event has become known for. If you work in the
industry then keep an eye on our social media platforms for details
of the next Vapouround Awards.
If any bleary-eyed exhibitors had hoped to be eased into their
Saturday, they were in for a nasty shock. After being fi red up in the
waiting area by hosts Johnnie Lovell and Ashley Hansen, the fi rst
wave of attendees burst onto the show floor for a truly unforgettable
two days.
Certain trends defi ne each expo and May’s event was no exception.
Juice companies are known to dominate the expo circuit but there
was plenty of hardware to keep even the hardware junkies and
hobbyists happy this time.
With 250 stands keeping thousands of vapers occupied
over three days, there really was no better way to spend
the run-up to the Bank Holiday.
The Build Area was also incredibly busy all weekend, with countless
vapers taking advantage of the expertise of the build team. The Build
Area has now evolved into the Modders and Builders Gallery, where
modders will be able to showcase their custom mods alongside the
coil builders.
The Media Meet and Greet area was a huge draw, thanks, in no small
part, to VapeTube and the streaming community who have become
a huge part of the expo experience.
Vapers got to quiz their favourite personalities on the Sunday, which
proved to be a highlight for many attendees. Catch you favourite
streamers in the Media Area again this weekend.
Also on the Sunday we had the fi nal of the Vapouround Cup, where
Horizon Vape Distro emerged victorious over Red Liquids. They had
already picked up three Vapouround gongs on the Friday so they
must have gone home very happy!
