J&B SCOTCH WHISKEY: THE DEFINITION OF RESPONSIBLE DRINKING

Most of the time when we think alcohol we think party time or things I would rather not think of. Then as you mature as a person, no you don’t forget party time, but you become a bit more reasonable and responsible in your thinking, and you start separating drinks and their moments, and we tend to associate whiskey with sophistication, class and business… Well we are about to talk whiskey and business.

Spending time at the J&B Hive was one of the best things I have done this year.

J&B Scotch Whiskey and J&B Hive define what it is to transform the face of business effectively.

As an entrepreneur myself, I cry out a lot about the lack of support that many people cry out about, and seeing for myself what J&B Scotch Whiskey is doing through the J&B Hive made me redefine the words “Responsible Drinking” in my head.

What we hear being preached daily about small business support by the institutions that are set up to help and assist small businesses in the country, but never ever deliver on that is what J&B Scotch Whiskey and the J&B Hive are doing, and that is delivering on genuine support for small businesses, and giving a true chance of success, and this is where we see young people step up and display their true creativity and passion when it comes to business.

One thing that is all over social media on a daily basis from entrepreneurs is the issue of people not respecting entrepreneurs enough to be true consumers or customers of their products or service through demanding that small businesses provide them with discounts yet expect superior quality products and services. I picked on this point more because from my own experience I have encountered people who have asked me fro free publicity, and when I in turn asked them for a favor they would invoice me and tell me that they need to earn a living. I had to learn from such situations that as an entrepreneur, people in general will not truly respect you like they respect big corporates, and hearing how other entrepreneurs are standing up to that gave me more inspiration to continue my journey and putting the right value to it.
