Sponsors take the lead at FNB Run Your City Series
Forming part of the FNB Run Your City Series the 4th annual FNB Joburg 10K CITYRUN and 3rd annual FNB Durban 10K CITYSURFRUN will boast exciting sponsor activations on Tuesday 24 September 2019 (National Heritage Day) and Sunday 13 October 2019 respectively.
Bonga Sebesho, Head of Sponsorships at FNB says, “We are excited to once again be part of the much anticipated 4th annual FNB Joburg 10K CITYRUN and 3rd annual FNB
Durban 10K
CITYSURFRUN
which bring
the people of
Johannesburg
and Durban
together to
experience
their city on
foot. With the
recent launch
of our new
Springboks
campaign
titled ‘Words Change the Game’ which calls on all South Africans to rally behind and support the Springboks to do their best in Japan by sharing their #WordsOfGreatness, we encourage every runner and walker of every age to run this race with greatness and to enjoy the spirit of South African unity. Continue sharing #WordsOfGreatness, not just to the Springboks but with each other too.”
One of the many FNB Run Your City Series highlights, entrants can look forward to putting their sprinting prowess to the test with PUMA and their #ForeverFaster ‘Beat Bolt’ sprint.
“We are looking for #FastTimes,” says Brett Bellinger, Marketing Director of PUMA South Africa. “That is the only way that you can #BeatBolt. The activation will be on the second half of the route, so be sure to leave a little extra in the tank as this activation requires speed over a 100m sprint. In-store discount vouchers will be up for grabs. PUMA will also run an exciting social media competition, the PUMA Hybrid Hunt where runners can win a R10 000 PUMA shopping spree. Entrants
simply need to
spot PUMA
Hybrid
elements
along the race
route, take a
picture of the
elements and
post the
pictures to
your social
media account
using the
hashtag
#HybridHunt
and tag @pumasouthafrica for an entry into the draw. Be sure to follow @pumasouthafrica and visit our spot at race pack collection to view the Hybrid Hunt elements that will be placed along the race route.”
