Cabo Blue Food Review

Small town resteraunt. Big time food

Cabo Blue restaurant is the place to go! It is located in the town of Fayette close to the baseball diamonds. The area it is in gives it the small town feel that I love. The outside of the building is brick and gives it an old look to it, but when you walk into the building itself you can tell that it’s a modern restaurant. It has lots of seats to sit down at and a wide open feel.

The cleanliness of the tables and chairs were great, but the floors were kind of dirty and had a sticky residue to them. It wasn’t crowded with people, but at the same time it wasn’t an empty building either. Even if the bottom floor was too crowded there was an upper level that you are able to be seated at.

Now it’s time to talk about the meal. I ordered the burnout and it came with fries. Too drink I had just a plain glass of water. It took about 30 mins to get my meal which I thought was a bit long, but we also had six people in our group so I’ll let it slide. The service from the waitress was great, whenever she noticed a glass was empty she asked to fill it and was very polite. The only bad thing about the service was that they should’ve asked if we wanted desserts before they gave us back the check, but other then that it was outstanding service. The burnout is a pulled pork sandwich and it was cooked to perfection! Every bite released a savory amount of juices into your mouth and it wasn’t to sweet or drenched in sauce. The french fries were thick cut just the way I like them and had a touch of salt and were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I also sampled some wings from David Jellings and the one bite I had from those was amazing! Every Wednesday the wings are only 50 cents, because it is wing Wednesday.

In the end this restaurant would receive a 10 out of 10 for my second time going there. Almost every aspect of my visit was spot on and the food was outstanding. If anyone were to ask me if it was a good restaurant I would say no. This is an amazing restaurant that will blow your socks off.
