A MAGICAL TEAM
We have a very special double cover story this month with Eric and Celeste DeCamps as our double cover . It isn ' t often we get to highlight the partners of magicians , but Celeste is a talent all by herself and one we wanted to feature . How often do we meet magicians but never bother to find out about their partners ? Next time you meet somebody be sure to get to know about their significant other and you might be surprised . Thanks to Hal Meyers for helping arrange this incredible story and to David Regal for writing it .
My memory of Eric dates to 1988 at an SAM convention in St . Louis where the only thing I remember from then is his version of Cups and Balls . His ending completely floored me , and his performance is etched in my memory . I won ’ t spoil it here but if you get the chance to see him perform , I highly recommend it . You won ' t see a better one man show anywhere . He has now added an incredible card rise routine to the closing of his show , and it is causing a lot of conversation amongst the magic world .
To celebrate Valentine ’ s Day Nick Lewin has released his yearly Valentine Day Awards . You can ' t get any more praise in this business if you get the nod from Nick Lewin so congratulations to those winners this year . Also , a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Nick who celebrates a special birthday on February 14th . We have something SPECIAL planned that everybody can benefit from . Keep your eye out in your email box this month .
The Magical Mystery Show ! On its doors in February in Maui featuring Nathan Coe Marsh . Nathan has just wrapped up a very successful run with his one-man show and is now bringing it to the most elegant venue on the planet . More hotels are being added and the producers ultimately are looking at having the show run in 25 high-end hotels around the world .
Finally , a very special thank you to Connie Boyd , Lance Rich and AnnaRose who uncovered one of the most amazing discoveries in magic I ' ve read about . Connie gets the exclusive story with AnnRose about how she discovered a true treasure . It ' s such a heart-warming story and we need more of these .
