The Legend of " Big Eater "
With cheers from the crowd , the competition in Japan called “ Who Is the Big Eater ?” begun with a loud whistle ! Within Just 5 minutes , there were already 6 plates piled up on the third eater ’ s table . Those plates seem like a small hill and have blocked the sight of the people who are eager to see the face of the hero . To our great surprise , the third eater who had such a gigantic appetite is a man of medium build rather than a pot-bellied person .
He had made the record of eating up 36 glutinous rice dumplings in 15 minutes in the preliminary contest . It almost equals to the total food consumption of a nuclear family in a week ! As we expected , he finally won the championship and was titled “ The Chinese Big Eater ” by eating up 150 dumplings in 30 minutes .
Pan is in his middle age now , and he lives a better life than the he did when he was a little child . He recalled ,” My mom was a frugal housewife . After each meal , she would force me to eat up all the leftovers . Sometimes I ate so much that I could hardly breathe .” Thanks to this habit , he is given the special ability to eat like a horse .
In the company , when it ’ s time for lunch , Pan will take out his unique bowl , which looks like a small basin . Every time Pan ’ s colleagues see the situation , they would laugh at him as well as his “ bowl ”, because he eats really a lot . However , he himself didn ’ t realize it until he became a “ legend ”. And then he went to the doctor , only to find that there was nothing wrong with him . Although his wife left him because of his “ good ” appetite , he still expects a considerate woman who would accompany him , support him and enjoy food together .
