New damper valve for processing gas or hot air
CNC Flow Control acquires Mako Products
InterApp has introduced the Saturnia damper valve for shutoff and flow control of process gas or hot air . Available in sizes from DN 50 to DN 600 , it operates in temperatures from -29 ° C to + 550 ° C and pressures up to 0.5 bar . The valve body and disc are available in carbon steel , boiler steel and stainless steel .
Features include interchangeable shaft seals , low torque operation and compatibility with InterApp gearboxes and pneumatic actuators . Saturnia is suitable for various industries , including power plants , chemical processing , pulp and paper , oil and gas , marine , air separation and steel production .
Texas-based CNC Flow Control has acquired Mako Products , an Edmond , Oklahoma-based master distributor of tube and instrumentation fittings , tubing and valves . Financial terms were not disclosed . CNC President and CEO Todd Hamlin stated that the acquisition aligns with their strategic focus on growing into a leading flow control franchise . Mako ’ s offerings will
complement CNC ’ s existing flow control valve products in energy and industrial applications , while also providing access to new end-market verticals such as aerospace and semiconductors . Mako co-owner Thad Shaw and the company ’ s core team will join CNC . Shaw expressed alignment with CNC on the combined organisation ’ s opportunities and believes the transaction will support Mako ’ s growth plans .
Valtorc International launches fugitive emissions valves
Valtorc International has introduced its Series 197 zero fugitive emissions ball valves . These high-performance , stainless steel flanged end valves are ANSI class 150 # rated and designed for corrosive media applications .
The Series 197 features a flanged design suitable for most piping applications and highperformance PTFE seats for highly corrosive media . Available in sizes from 1 / 2-inch to 6-inch , the valves come in stainless steel and carbon steel options . Customers can choose between manual handles or fully automated versions with pneumatic or electric actuation . These ball valves are designed to address fugitive emissions concerns in various industrial applications requiring corrosionresistant valve solutions .
AVK Valve ’ s universal couplings and flange adaptors
AVK Valves has introduced its new Supa One™ straight couplings and flange adaptors for ductile iron , steel , PVC and PE pipes in sizes DN80- 200 . These ductile iron fittings , designed to EN 545 standards , feature a single bolt tightening mechanism at each end for easy installation .
The Supa One design includes a 360 ° rotatable bracket section for adjustable bolt orientation and spherical nuts for precise fit and standard power tool compatibility . It offers ± 4 ° deflection capability in both ends , totalling 8 °, and large insertion depth tolerances . These features eliminate the need for re-tightening bolts and allow for simple installation without precise adjustment . These universal non-tensile couplings and flange adaptors expand AVK ’ s range of pipe connection solutions , providing versatility for various pipe materials and installation conditions .
