Aalberts Integrated Piping Systems( IPS), a leader in advanced integrated piping |
systems for the distribution and control of liquids and gases, highlights its“ Apollo” ® Press ® product line of ball valves, check valves, and pressure-reducing valves. As part of the renowned“ Apollo” ® brand, this modular product line brings performance and versatility to projects ranging from commercial buildings and multi-family housing to hospitals, educational campuses, |
hospitality venues, and industrial facilities. The“ Apollo” ® Press ® product line features a flame-free installation method, eliminating the need for hot work permits or fire watch for a faster, safer workflow. Central to its design is the Leak Before Press ® technology, which provides immediate visual indication of unpressed connections during pressure |
testing, helping installers quickly verify system integrity. With a robust 300 PSI pressure rating and operating temperature range of 0 to 250 degrees Fahrenheit, the“ Apollo” ® Press ® system is built to withstand the demands of both residential and commercial installations, including potable water, HVAC systems, compressed air, and hydronic heating and cooling. |
BASF has reached two significant milestones at its Zhanjiang Verbund site: the successful start-up of the butyl acrylate( BA) plant and the mechanical completion of the steam cracker and all integrated petrochemical plants. These achievements mark steady progress toward the site’ s full operational start-up by the end of 2025, reinforcing BASF’ s commitment to meeting the growing demand for high-quality petrochemical products across the Asia Pacific region. BASF has achieved mechanical completion of the steam cracker and all downstream |
petrochemical plants, including ethylene oxide, oxo alcohols, syngas, and high-density polyethylene, at the Zhanjiang Verbund site, transitioning the project from construction to operational readiness. This milestone ensures all systems are installed, connected, and tested, paving the way for commissioning and start-up activities scheduled for the end of 2025. Strategically located close to customers, the Zhanjiang Verbund site is a cornerstone of BASF’ s strategy to drive growth in the petrochemicals industry |
across the Asia Pacific. As a fully backward integrated complex, the site includes a steam cracker with an annual capacity of one million metric tons of ethylene, along with downstream petrochemical |
plants. These facilities are scheduled to begin operations by the end of 2025, providing a wide range of petrochemical products to cater to the diverse needs of industries across the region. |
Gladstone, Michigan-based VanAire Inc. celebrated 30 years in business September 2025. Since 1995, the Company has evolved into a global leader in engineered valve automation hardware and wastewater pretreatment systems, with a presence on every continent – even in outer space. The Company was founded by Dick VandeVusse who recognised a demand for improved integration between valves and actuators, which at the time, was often overlooked and solutions caused potential failure. Driven by his insight, VandeVusse left his job and launched the Company from his two-car garage. Today, VanAire owns and operates a 45,000-square-foot facility and employs approximately 90 people. |
The Company’ s highly skilled team includes professional and mechanical engineers, Certified SolidWorks Professionals( CSWP), AWS-certified welding inspectors, and welders, as well as ASME Section IX-certified welders. With a strong focus on precision engineering and customer satisfaction, VanAire utilises stateof-the-art technology including 15 3D CAD stations with FEA capabilities and more than 30 CNC machines. These include robotic welders, laser cutting systems, machining centers, turning centers, press brakes, and blind hole key seaters. To commemorate its anniversary, VanAire has released a short documentary highlighting the Company’ s evolution and featuring with success stories from its employees. |
BEL Valves has recently had products installed in two major North Sea oil field developments. The UK business, which manufactures high integrity valves, complete with actuation and control systems for oil and gas and hydrogen and carbon capture installations, was able to design, develop, manufacture and supply bespoke small bore needle valves and gate valves for Subsea7. BEL Valves’ products have been installed in the Belinda and Bittern oil fields, both of which are situated 190km east of Aberdeen and will supply the Triton floating production storage and offloading( FPSO) vessel when they become operational in early 2026. They were specified by Subsea7 for |
Dana Petroleum and Serica and will be used on subsea elements of the multi-million pound project. Designed for heavy duty on / off applications in the challenging subsea environment, the BEL Valves subsea Gate Valve range can be supplied in bore sizes from ∞“ to 36”. Meanwhile, its Needle Valves suit bore sizes of ∞”, 3 4” and 1” and have a pressure rating up to 15,000psi. Paul Humphreys, CEO of BEL Valves, said:“ We’ ve been manufacturing valves since the mid-1960s and our reputation for quality and reliability is second to none. But with so many excellent valve manufacturers operating in the oil and gas sector, it’ s vital to differentiate ourselves in other ways.” |
