ANDRITZ secures hydropower project
ANDRITZ has been awarded a contract to supply the complete electromechanical package for the 29.5 MW Tak Le hydropower project in Quang Nam Province, Vietnam. The contract, placed by Thanh Binh Company Limited, covers the delivery of hydro turbines, main inlet valves, generators, control and protection systems, electrical power systems, and balance of plant. ANDRITZ will also provide technical services, including supervision of installation and commissioning.
The Company has been active in Vietnam’ s hydropower sector since 1994, supplying more than 110 units with a combined capacity exceeding 2.3 GW. Back in 2022, Vietnam Electricity( EVN) contracted Andritz to supply the complete electromechanical equipment and technical services for the Ialy hydropower plant extension project located in Sa Thay district, Kon Tum province, and Chu Pah district, Gia Lai province.
L & T secures multiple orders GF launches 565 butterfly valves
Larsen & Toubro’ s( L & T) Construction Equipment and Industrial Products Design & Development( CE & IPDD) vertical has won several orders across its business segments. The Construction Equipment( CE) business unit bagged long-term after-sales support contracts from leading coal and cement producers in India for Komatsu mining equipment. The Rubber Processing Machinery( RPM) unit secured significant orders
from top tyre manufacturers in India, covering the design and manufacture of tyre curing presses and tyre building machines for two-wheelers, passenger cars, trucks, and buses. L & T Valves received multiple orders for PVC and CPVC projects from major domestic companies, alongside contracts from leading EPC players in Saudi Arabia. These wins reflect L & T’ s diversified engineering strength, global reach, and trusted delivery capabilities.
GF Building Flow Solutions Americas has launched its 565 Butterfly Valves, an addition to the growing Uponor ChlorFIT ® Schedule 80 Corzan ® CPVC system. Available in Gear Wafer, Gear Lug, Lever Wafer, and Lever Lug configurations, the 565 Butterfly Valves are designed for a wide range of applications, including domestic water, hydronic heating, chilled water, and industrial water. The flexible configurations of the valves support efficient system design across diverse commercial building types.
