The concept supports the green transition in district heating by reducing energy consumption for pumps through lower system pressure and optimising energy use through better network monitoring . It also contributes to lower return temperatures , offering economic benefits and reducing CO 2 emissions . BROEN BALLOMAX ® HydroState offers flexibility , as it can be retrofitted to existing well valves , installed in a bypass cabinet or integrated into new valves , adapting to varied customer needs .
