INNOVA mini seat valves
INOXPA is launching a new range of ‘ mini ’ INNOVA seat valves , sizes DN10 , DN15 , DN20 , ∞ ”, and
3
⁄ 4 ”, in two variants - hygienic and aseptic . These are shut-off and divert single seat valves , INNOVA N and INNOVA K . The hygienic option comes with new sizes compared to the larger valves in its range , and the design has changed : the bodies don ’ t join using clamps as with the larger sizes , they are one-piece bodies machined from a bar . This new structure means that the shaft / seal has also been redesigned and instead of having
two tapered gaskets , the upper one is now radial , enabling the disassembly of the valve for maintenance . The aseptic valves aim to avoid potential product contamination from external agents in the environment , such as microorganisms , bacteria , etc . As well as being designed and manufactured with optimised materials and finishes for total cleanliness , each valve component that comes into contact with the process is hermetically sealed from the surrounding atmosphere - the valve in this case . A PTFE diaphragm was fitted and attached to the shaft and the internal part of the upper body so that the shaft section entering and exiting the valve always remains isolated from the process . The aseptic valves are intended for installations that require high levels of purity , particularly in the pharmaceutical , cosmetic and food industries .
Special ball valve BR 25e
The SAMSON PFEIFER BR 25e valve allows the efficient handling of highly viscous media . The 25e angle ball valve is designed and manufactured by PFEIFER Chemie Armaturenbau GmbH in Kempen and designed by Michael Gartz . The order came from a chemical company which produces preproducts with different viscosities that can be found in various everyday life end products . There was considerable contamination on the transport rollers during the filling process . “ The result was a high degree of cleaning in the filling process , which also slowed down production ,” reports Gartz . The manufacturer of the filling unit was unable to implement a contamination-free filling process . The challenge was to create a ball valve that would handle the pre-products with the different viscosities of between 5 – 4900 Pas at high temperature and high pressure into the containers without stringing , to avoid further contamination on the transport rollers .

The new Digital Valve Kit provides plant operators with remote access and remote control of their valves , as well as indicates the current health status of the installed valves . In addition , the specialist for industrial valves will present valves and manifolds as well as the DBB ball valves for hydrogen applications and for use with fugitive emissions ( TA-Luft 2021 ). Every year , technicians install millions of mechanical components in brown- and greenfield plants - a large proportion of which are valves and valve manifolds . To take advantage of the IIoT , suppliers , plant engineers and operators should include these valves in the digital twin of the plant .
