MRC Global Canada rebranded Midfield Valve & Supply
With the acquisition complete, EMCO will rebrand and rename MRC Global’ s nine Canadian locations over the coming year. Following both parties entering into a definitive purchase agreement toward the end of 2024, London, Ont.-based EMCO Corporation has completed its acquisition of the Canadian division of Houston, TX-based MRC Global. With this acquisition EMCO will rebrand MRC Global Canada’ s nine locations across Alberta, British Columbia and Ontario under the new name of Midfield Valve & Supply over the coming year. These branches will be run separately as a division of EMCO Corporation. MRC Global is a distributor of pipe, valves and fitting, in addition to infrastructure products and services. EMCO’ s acquisition of their Canadian operations will allow EMCO to grow its business in the mining, industrial, and oil and gas sectors.
Precision announces new CEO
Precision Valve Corporation, a global manufacturer of aerosol valves, actuators, and other dispensing solutions, has announced the appointment of Thierry Bouan as Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. Bouan succeeds Harald Biederbick, who has served as Chief Executive Officer since 2022.
Bouan joined Precision in 2017 and has been responsible for leading all aspects of the Asia Pacific business. Throughout his tenure, he has successfully driven operational and commercial value-creation initiatives, demonstrating strong leadership and a commitment to excellence, according to Precision.

Flow control and process equipment distributor Tencarva Machinery has acquired Atlantic Valve & Equipment. Based in Richmond, VA, Atlantic Valve is a manufacturer representative serving the municipal and industrial water / wastewater sectors throughout Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Maryland, Washington, D. C., and
West Virginia. The company offers a range of products, including gate valves, butterfly valves, plug valves, hydraulic / electric control valves, and ductile iron fabrications and fittings, representing brands like Kennedy Valve, Clow Valve, Onyx Valve, and others. The management team at Atlantic Valve will remain in place under Tencarva.
