UFT announces strategic acquisitions
Dongwu Machinery obtains ADNOC approval
United Flow Technologies( UFT) has acquired Moss-Kelley, Quality Controls, and GP Jager. These acquisitions mark an important milestone in UFT’ s ongoing strategy to expand across the US and solidify UFT’ s growth into the East. All three companies bring a legacy of excellence in representing top-tier water, wastewater, and industrial
treatment and flow control solutions. Dongwu Machinery, the safety valve division of the Neway group, has obtained supplier qualification approval from the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company( ADNOC). The approval encompasses a wide range of safety valve models and material categories. This achievement not only represents a major breakthrough in the Middle East market but also serves as a critical cornerstone for the company’ s global strategic expansion,
underscoring its growing influence in the international energy sector. ADNOC has extremely strict audit standards for suppliers, covering multiple dimensions such as technical strength, product quality, and management systems. The acquisition of this approval is not only a proof of Dongwu Machinery’ s technical strength and product quality but also provides strong support for the company’ s future expansion in the international market.
L & T secures an order for WET business
The Water & Effluent Treatment( WET) Business of L & T, along with
Lantania of Spain, has signed a contract with ACWA Power, a
major developer in the Middle East, to build the Ras Mohaisen Desalination plant in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Ras Mohaisen Desalination plant will have a capacity of 300,000m 3 / day. The project’ s scope includes design, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning of a seawater reverse osmosis desalination plant.
It encompasses intake and outfall facilities, process units, pumping stations, a 600,000 cubic meters potable water storage facility, an electrical special facility, and associated works along with state-of-the-art automation and instrumentation systems. A Solar PV plant is also part of the project scope.
