INNOVATIONS & SOLUTIONS
Neway Valve produced a globe type control valve
Neway Valve has produced a globe type control valve with labyrinth trim for a 600,000-ton synthetic ammonia unit , marking the first time the company has applied 3D printing technology to an actual order . The cage of this 3 ” class 1500 control valve is produced by 3D printing technology . The device uses labyrinth sleeve internals to greatly reduce the medium ’ s flow rate , lower the noise passing through the valve , and improve the valve ’ s service life . Traditional manufacturing processes for the labyrinth sleeve would require multiple steps , taking at least one month to complete . However , using 3D printing technology , only three processes — 3D printing , heat treatment , and machining — are needed , reducing the manufacturing time to less than 15 days and significantly improving manufacturing efficiency . 3D printing technology is revolutionizing the design and manufacturing of valve components . Neway Valve aims to apply this technology to more valve components in the future , continuously improving production efficiency and providing customers with more efficient services .
Emerson launches TESCOM HV-7000 series pressure-reducing regulator
Emerson has launched the TESCOM HV-7000 Series twostage pressure-reducing regulator , designed to maximize fuel efficiency and improve reliability in hydrogenpowered vehicles . The regulator provides stable pressure delivery , high reliability , and
long service life for heavyduty vehicles powered by fuel cells or hydrogen combustion engines . The HV-7000 features twostage pressure reduction and a positive seal , delivering hydrogen to the fuel cell at optimal pressure in all
flow conditions , even as the vehicle hydrogen storage tank depletes . These features can minimize fueling costs and the risk of downstream component failure and downtime . The regulator is designed to be contamination-resistant , with features such as tied valve
stems , integrated filters , and patented redundant seals , which can improve vehicle service life and extend time on the road . Preventing contamination and resulting leaks can help avoid fuel loss , safety hazards , system damage and equipment downtime .
