Rubix completes acquisition of ERIKS UK & Ireland
As part of our growth strategy, Rubix has completed the acquisition of ERIKS UK & Ireland. ERIKS UK & Ireland is a wellrecognised and respected industrial distributor with a specialist flow technology offer, including hoses, valves,
sealing and gaskets, as well as associated technical services such as customisation and repair. This complementary acquisition brings together two multispecialist industrial distributors offering a broad range of products and services, while extending the Rubix offer in flow technology.
Nittan doubles valve production capacity
Nittan India Tech Private Limited( NIT), the Indian subsidiary of Japan’ s Nittan Valve Company Limited, has doubled its production capacity at its Sri City plant with the inauguration of a newly expanded manufacturing facility. The latest expansion adds 7,350 sq m of built-up area, matching the existing 3.5- acre footprint and bringing the total developed area to around seven acres. With an additional investment of ₹ 41 crore, NIT’ s total investment in India has now reached ₹ 257 crore, creating 100 new employment opportunities in the region. Speaking at the inauguration, Young Oh Ko, Managing Director of NIT, said the enhanced facility will enable the company to increase output from 1 million to 2 million valves per month.“ This is a milestone, not the finish line. We will continue to grow and ensure NIT remains a shining name for decades to come,” he remarked.
Chief Fluid Systems to distribute FMD products
Australian technology company Chief Fluid Systems has signed an agreement with US company Fairbanks Morse Defense( FMD) to become the Australian distributor for its range of Hunt valve and fitting products. The company, based in Western Sydney and Australia’ s leader for fluid handling valves, fittings and hoses for industrial and defence applications, said this new Memorandum of Understanding( MoU) was a significant milestone. Under the agreement, Chief Fluid Systems has been appointed FMD’ s authorised distributor in Australia for Hunt Valve and fittings products, responsible for distribution, servicing and support across both surface and sub-surface platforms. www. valve-world. net Valve World February 2026
