INNOVATIONS & SOLUTIONS

InterAPP double eccentric butterfly valve
InterAPP ’ s new double eccentric butterfly valve Elara , available in sizes ranging from DN 50 to DN 600 , has been designed specifically to meet the demands of heavyduty industrial applications . It confidently performs in extreme temperature ranges , withstanding temperatures
from -50 ° C to + 400 ° C , and effortlessly handling pressures of up to 50 bar . This robust butterfly valve offers a choice of body materials , including carbon steel and stainless steel , along with a stainless steel disc and three easily interchangeable seat options ( MPTFE , metal , and fire safe ). The versatility of this valve extends across a wide range of industries , including water treatment , power generation , chemical processes , life sciences , the pulp and paper industry , sugar industry , oil and gas , marine , district cooling and heating , and air separation .
Hygienic angle seat valves - food & beverage production
ValvTechnologies launches V1-R V series valve
ValvTechnologies , the manufacturer of zero-leakage , severe service isolation valve solutions , is proud to introduce the latest addition to its esteemed V Series family : the V1-R , which brings ease of maintenance to its trusted V Series line of valves . The New V1-R design includes an integral seat , the patented RiTech ® hard coating , blowout-proof stem , and live-loaded packing . The V1-R design provides ease of maintenance , with no cutting or welding required . ValvTechnologies ’ design and construction deliver the extra safety margin so crucial to maintaining productivity : customers benefit by realizing increased security , less downtime , and lower maintenance . It is backed by a zero-leakage guarantee .
Marotta Controls to provide valves for NASA ’ s JPL
Schubert & Salzer is extending its range of sterile and aseptic valves by two new types of hygienic angle seat valves .
The shut-off valve type 7015 and the control valve type 7025 with integrated digital positioner are specially adapted for use in the production of food and beverages . These valves are used to control and shut off product streams , drinking water , CO2 and nitrogen , as well as sterile steam and sterile air . The new valve types in the nominal sizes DN 15-50 and the pressure class PN 40 are suitable for media with temperatures from – 30 ° C to + 170 ° C and in special versions even from – 50 ° C to + 180 ° C . All wetted plastics are FDAcompliant and conform to the EC Regulation 1935 / 2004 as well as the EU Plastic Regulation 10 / 2011 . Both valve types meet the requirements according to the Technical Instructions on Air Quality Control ( 12-2021 ) together with EN ISO 15848- 1:2017 .
Marotta Controls , a rapidly growing aerospace and defense supplier with a 65-year-plus heritage in spaceflight , has been selected by NASA ’ s Jet Propulsion Laboratory ( JPL ) to supply two types of valves on the Sample Retrieval Lander ( SRL ), a key element of NASA ’ s Mars Sample Return program . The SRL will carry the Mars Ascent Vehicle ( MAV ), a rocket charged with launching samples off the surface of Mars for return to Earth for study . The NASA SRL will utilize two different components from Marotta . The first is a customized valve
based on the MV130HLT , a heritage design from Marotta ’ s CoRe ® Flow Control series . This valve will pressurize the liquid propellant tanks , starting the SRL ’ s engines . The second Marotta valve , the SPV795 , is brand new and designed specifically to shut off the SRL ’ s descent engines to facilitate a safe landing ; this is to accommodate the very thin atmosphere on Mars ( which is less than 1 % as dense as that of Earth ). Both valves have been optimized to reduce the risk of sample contamination and safeguard the integrity of each vial ’ s contents .
