TriNova new northeast location Valmet solutions for green H2 projects
TriNova , Inc ., an Endress + Hauser authorized sales and service representative since 2002 , recently celebrated the opening of its new northeast USD 4M , 11,400 square-foot facility in Clifton Park , New York . The facility includes a new stateof-the-art PTU ( Process Training Unit ) that will bring an entirely new training experience to the northeast for Endress + Hauser and Rockwell Automation . TriNova also plans to educate area high school students on what an engineering degree means in their world of technical sales and solutions . TriNova is expected to double its application engineer headcount with twice as many workstations .
Stephens Group acquires Quality Valve
The Stephens Group , LLC has finalized its acquisition of Quality Valve , Inc . from Pfingsten . Based in Mobile , Alabama , Quality Valve is a distributor of OEM valve replacement and repair parts and accessories , providing a brand-agnostic “ one-stop shop ” for customers across a variety of end markets with missioncritical MRO needs . Quality Valve supplies over 25,000 orders annually across 500 unique customers covering over 12,500 SKUs from over 100 leading suppliers .
Stamicarbon urea & DEF deal
Valmet will deliver valve solutions for gigawatt-scale green hydrogen plants . The orders cover a total of 440 valves , including the next-generation butterfly valves that allow improved process performance with a minimised environmental footprint . Valmet expanded its offering with valve solutions in April 2022 , when the industrial flow control company Neles was merged
into Valmet . Neles is now a Flow Control business line at Valmet . New electrolysis technologies and utilization of explosive industrial gases , such as hydrogen , require valves that can perform under demanding pressure and temperature conditions . During the past decade , Valmet has delivered several thousands of valve solutions for use in hydrogen production worldwide .
Stamicarbon has signed an agreement for a feasibility study with KeyState Natural Gas Synthesis in Pennsylvania , US , to become its Urea & DEF ( Diesel Exhaust Fluid ) technology licensor . This project is expected to produce hydrogen , automotivegrade urea , and ammonia , while capturing and permanently storing carbon dioxide ( CO2 ) emissions associated with hydrogen production . This study is one of Pennsylvania ’ s first developments for producing low-carbon hydrogen and other products like carbon capture and storage ( CCS ).
