Valve World 2022 : a retrospect
From 29 November to 1 December , the Valve World
Conference & Expo 2022 was in full swing at Messe Düsseldorf . It was highly successful as a platform for bringing together experts within the industry from all over the globe .

After years of being unable to meet due to the pandemic , members from the valve industry were delighted to once again be able to meet face to face . Located at Messe Düsseldorf , the Valve World Conference & Expo 2022 was bursting with positive energy from all the enthusiastic exhibitors and delegates . For three days , conference delegates enjoyed interesting and technical panel discussions , presentations , and seminars . In-between sessions , delegates were able to experience demonstrations and networking on the Expo floor . Sponsors Emerson , KITZ , MRC Global , Neway , Rotork and Velan were crucial to the success of our event .

I enjoyed the conference very much ; some good and interesting topics were discussed . And it was also good to re-connect with suppliers in the exhibition hall after Covid ,” says Rob Hengst , Shell Global Solutions International .
An interesting and engaging programme
The Steering Committee was led by Conference Chairman Ayo Kilani from Nigeria LNG , and together they developed a programme that was both technical in nature , and engaging . “ The world has evolved since we last met in 2018 . The content of the conference reflects the changes that have taken place in the last four years ,” Ayo Kilani stated in his opening address . The mornings were kicked off with plenary sessions in which the speakers expertly discussed topics such as decarbonisation , the energy transition , lessons learned , and the importance of bringing young , fresh talent to the industry .

As usual , the conference cycle was very good . In addition , I have the feeling that everybody was very happy to be present and this gave a good vibe ,” says Bruno Martin , Technip Energies France .
