Toubro( L & T), has appointed Venkatesh Suryanarayanan( S. Venkatesh) as Chief Executive, effective July 2025.

L & T Valves appoints S. Venkatesh as Chief Executive

Many of you may recognise the name of L & T Valves and S. Venkatesh from our June cover story at Valve World. S. Venkatesh has more than 30 years of experience in the valve industry, with his career beginning in valve manufacturing within the L & T Group in 1993. Over the following decades, he held various international sales and leadership roles at L & T Valves, A. E. Valves, and Emerson Process Management. In 2022, he returned to L & T Valves as Global Head of Sales. In this role, and later as Vice President Global Sales, he was responsible for worldwide sales and business development activities. S. Venkatesh brings extensive expertise in sales, product management, and manufacturing of isolation and control valves for critical applications. He succeeds S. Kalyanaraman, who, by the company’ s report, has taken on the role of Executive Vice President and now heads L & T’ s“ Industrial Machinery” business segment. This segment includes L & T Valves, the rubber processing machinery business, and L & TCEL.
