Pressbolt Norsok D59 approved Bailey International acquires Hydrolico
Pressbolt , an Italian manufacturer producing standard and special bolting ( fully threaded studbolts , nuts , bars , etc ) and special pieces manufactured to customer ’ s drawings , announced that is now Norsok D59 approved . Norsok standards are developed by the Norwegian petroleum industry to ensure adequate safety , value-adding , and cost-effectiveness for petroleum industry developments and operations . Furthermore , Norsok standards are as far as possible intended to replace oil company specifications and serve as references in the authorities ’ regulations .
Bailey International has acquired Québec-based , Hydrolico International , Inc . The acquisition will expand Bailey ’ s product portfolio and provide additional expertise in hydraulic and pneumatic manufacturing . Bailey will continue to develop and grow the Hydrolico business in Canada and the US . The addition of Hydrolico ’ s facilities in Montreal , Canada , and Walker , Michigan will further strengthen Bailey ’ s North American infrastructure and help support customers globally . “ Hydrolico ’ s advanced manufacturing capabilities will allow us to expand the services we can provide ,” said Christopher Rowley , Vice President of Operations at Bailey .

Albion Valves ( UK ) Limited has introduced a dedicated Sales Manager for Northern and Southern Ireland – George McGuire . George has a wealth of experience and knowledge in the industrial heating and valve market , having worked with distributors and contractors within the industry for almost 15 years . This newly-created role will see George build brand awareness and desirability for Albion amongst contractors and consultants in the region , whilst developing relationships with their network of independent distributors .
Two new TÜV SÜD certifications
TÜV SÜD presents two new certification marks , one for the certification of fuel-cell systems and one for components of hydrogen systems . By using these marks , manufacturers can inspire trust in the safety and performance of their systems and components . The international testing , inspection , and certification ( TIC ) company , in turn , provides these marks to drive the sought-after decarbonisation of our economy . Since May 2022 , TÜV SÜD Product Service has offered two new voluntary certification marks , “ Fuel cell system ” and “ Hydrogen system component ”, for stationary , factory-made fuel-cell systems and hydrogen-carrying components respectively . While fuel cells produce electricity based on an electrochemical reaction , hydrogencarrying components such as valves , fuelling nozzles , breakaway couplings , and hoses are used at H2 ( re ) fuelling stations or on H2 vehicles . By affixing the certification mark of the independent TIC company to their products , manufacturers communicate their quality and safety awareness to purchasing agents and consumers , but also gain a competitive edge . The normative basis comprises IEC 62282-2 and -4 for fuelcell modules , IEC 62282-3 for fuel-cell systems , ISO 19880-3 and -5 for hydrogen valves and dispenser hoses , and ISO 17268 for breakaway couplings and fuelling nozzles .

( together with its affiliates , Clearlake ), has acquired netMercury , a specialty parts and services distributor . netMercury is a distributor of critical parts and services to the global integrated circuit fabrication and technology industries with three locations in Dallas , Austin , and Phoenix . The company ’ s family of products includes system controls , temperature controls , high purity valves and fittings , fluid pumps , liquid flow controls , cleanroom equipment , consumables , vacuum pumps , and wafer process equipment , among others . netMercury also provides project management , including repair programs for equipment and components , custom kitting services for maintenance , and automated supply chain management replenishment services .
