Advanced Polyolefins Industry Company , a subsidiary of Advanced Petrochemical Company based in Saudi Arabia , recently signed multiple agreements to the value of USD1.6 billion in a bid to fund construction of plants at Jubail Industrial City II . Advanced Petrochemical Company established itself as a major player in the petrochemical industry in both Saudi Arabia as well as across the Middle East and North Africa region . The company and its subsidiaries deliver high quality products , using cutting edge technologies . Currently , Advance P . Chem Co produces 455,000 tons per year of propylene and 450,000 tons per year of polypropylene from its production facility located in Jubail Industrial City . The project will include developing a propane dehydrogenation plant that will provide 843,000 tons total annual capacity . Additionally , the project will develop 800,000 tons of polypropylene as well as an isopropanol facility with a total annual capacity of 70,000 tons .
