EZY-PAK™ EXTREME & EZY-PAK™ EXTREME FA
Ideal for refining petrochemical , chemical , pipeline and wellhead valve maintenance needs , EZY-PAK EXTREME and EZY-PAK EXTREME FA ( Fiber Added ) low “ E ” ( low emission ) “ Certified Low Leak Technology ” ( CLLT ) enhanced formulation uses a balance of molybdenum disulfide and surface modified synthetic graphite , plus carbon fibers with EZY-PAK EXTREME FA . This unique combination provides lubrication and enhanced seal energizing properties for a wide variety of temperatures and pressures . Emerson ’ s New Valves for Hydrogen Fueling Stations Ensure Maintenance Safety , Minimizes Leaks
has launched the TESCOMTM Anderson Greenwood Instrumentation H 2 Valve Series for hydrogen applications up to 15,000 pounds-per- squareinch ( psi ) ( 103.4 megapascal ( MPa ). The new solution reliably isolates process pressure in high pressure gas applications such as hydrogen fueling stations and tube trailers , reducing fugitive emissions and improving safety .
As it moves from tank to pump , hydrogen is transferred at pressures of up to 15,000 psi ( 103.4 MPa ). To protect personnel and prevent leaks , it must be effectively controlled and isolated . The Double Block Bleed ( DBB ) valve ’ s positive double block arrangement provides two layers of positive shutoff that shield maintenance staff from high pressure during instrument maintenance . Its modular design reduces the number of potential leakage points , and the reinforced sealing technology reduces the risk of fuel entering the atmosphere through the valve stem .
Among the cleanest fuels when produced using renewable resources , compressed hydrogen gas is used to power fuel cell electric vehicles ( FCEVs ). In 2021 , 142 new hydrogen refueling stations began operating , the biggest increase in a single year , raising the total to 685 active stations worldwide . Conval Introduces New Clampseal ® Unit Tandem Blowdown Valves
New Clampseal Unit Tandem Blowdown Valves for boiler blowdown and bottom blow-off service are now available from Conval . The high performance , severe service valves effectively control the flow of steam / fluid under high differential pressure .
Clampseal Unit Tandem Blowdown Valves will be supplied in hard seat x hard seat and right and left hand configurations . They will be available in 1 ” through 2-1 / 2 ” sizes , and with ASME Class 300 through 2500 pressure ratings . Standard materials include ASME SA-105 carbon steel and F22 alloy steel . Other materials are available upon request . End connections include socket weld , butt weld or flanged .
