Mokveld Valves , a leader in the development and production of high-quality control and safety valves , can announce Gasunie decided to enter a long term frame agreement with Mokveld to supply control valves for the Hydrogen Delivery Stations . This agreement is part of Gasunie ’ s plans to develop Hynetwork , a country wide hydrogen network in The Netherlands . In this project existing natural gas pipelines will be converted to transport hydrogen . The network will supply hydrogen to large consumers , such as industrial plants located close to the delivery points .
This Hynetwork project plays an important role in the European energy transition , in which hydrogen has become a crucial source of renewable energy .
