The Rise of the Robots

The robotics industry has been constantly expanding since the early 1950's and is a vast web of new ideas and creative outlets for children, teenagers, and like-minded adults today. Many companies have begun to address the growing industry with new products specifically designed to target younger audiences to prepare the consumers for challenges later in life, as well as introduce them to the vast and ever-growing world of robotics. One company that has begun to capitalize on the robotics industry is MORETechnologies. They are an introductory robotics company based in Fayetteville, Arkansas. MORETech specializes in beginner robots that primarily appeal to people over the age of nine. They have competed in a national competition put on by N.A.S.A. to design robots that could go on to the surface of Mars and collect samples of materials to send back to N.A.S.A. to be 3-D printed and analyzed. The robot that MORETech designed is still in the earlier stages of design but remains impressive when compared to many other robots on the market. It works by having a very powerful extendable arm on the front of the machine. The arm has a rotating containment chamber on the tip of it that when rotating forward will pick up any objects on the ground, but while rotating in reverse will allow any objects contained in the chamber to be sent out. The arm is actually powerful enough to act as a third wheel, should any harm befall one of the other wheels. This kind of innovative fail-safe is the kind of ingenuity that goes into all of MORETech's other products. Whether the product is a drone or a water vessel, the design behind each of them remains the same. Some of the robot packages start around $300.00 USD, but some are substantially less expensive while still managing to deliver a similar experience. Overall, MORETechnologies is an up-and-coming company that consumers should be on the lookout for.
