Taysha Sullivan A reading from the Second Letter of Saint Paul to Timothy ( 4:7-8 ; 17-18 )
The time is here for me to leave this life . I have done my best in the race , I have run the full distance . I have kept the faith . And now the prize of victory is waiting for me , the crown of righteousness , which the Lord , the righteous Judge , will give me on that day and not only to me , but to all those who wait with love for Him to appear .
The Lord has stayed with me and given me strength , he has been my rock , my safety and now he will rescue me from all evil , and take me safely into His heavenly Kingdom . The Word of the Lord .
