What is your name and where are you from?
My name is Kristian and I am from Norway, from the city close to Oslo.
What do you do in Valencia, why did you come here and could you
choose another city in Spain?
I came here to do my Erasmus. From whole Spain my norwegian
university collaborates only with Valencia University, that is the reason
I am here. I study mathematics and Spanish so I wanted to come to
Spain.
Do you like Valencia?
Yes, but it is so hot for me. But I like the people, that are more
open than people in Norway and Scandinavian countries.
Are you proud of being Norwegian? What do you like there?
Yes, I guess I am proud of it, I really like salmon but we also have
food from other countries. Like Italian food (I think that it is everywhere)
or Mexican tacos. We even call Friday "Taco Friday". 8,2% of Norway
people eat taco on Friday. It is quite crazy. My favourite dish is Kjøttkaker
which is Norwegian meatballs. I eat them with "brun saus" (special
sauce).
What interesting do you do in your life?
I am a pilot of light aircraft, I have been learning for it for last 2 years. It
was my dream. I really enjoy it when I fly in the sky and I can admire the
fiords below me. Once I had a situation that the engine didn't work but
hopefully after doing second checklist everything was fine.
