Hyperdeck is an all-new immersive , virtual reality experience at Recoil in Valdosta .
Up to 4 players enter into a virtual world featuring a full-motion floor and multi-sensory effects like strong winds , heat , and earth-rattling movements . The game continues outside as spectators help or challenge players via tablets located around the exterior of the Hyperdeck station .
Coggins said , “ Hyperdeck is already a hit ! There was a line as soon as we fired it up today , and the employees came in just to try it the night before .”
This type of virtual experience is one of less than 15 in the United States , he said .
Hyperdeck brings the theme park-level experience and currently offers two games .

• Dreamsaver — A group of Dreamsavers travel into a child ’ s dream to deliver an epiphany and are stopped by a nightmare . Multiple endings and a variety of blasters and power-ups make for a rich experience that evolves with the players . Length : 10 minutes
• H . A . I . R . — H . A . I . R . imagines a world where a 1980s guitar hero becomes a villain in a post-apocalyptic world . Players fly through the night collecting crystals and destroying robotic henchmen . Breathtaking environments , spine-tingling effects , and a soaring soundtrack make H . A . I . R . one sweet ride . Length : 10 minutes
According to Creative Works , game developers are currently working on new games to
roll out for the virtual reality experience .
Clay York and Miea Green were one of the first customers to try the Hyperdeck experience .
York and Green said they had never done anything like that before and never expected to have the experience in Valdosta .
York said , “ It was great ! It was very immersive but not too much . The effects add a lot to the game experience .”
Recoil Trampoline Park unlocked phase four of its expansion with a new arcade in January 2023 .
Recoil revealed its newly renovated space with nearly 80 different single-player and twoplayer arcade games .
Coggins said the arcade allows players to purchase credits on a card that they use to play games and collect tickets to spend in the redemption store .
Brailey Weaver and Brent Hospedales , Recoil employees , said the opening weekend was one of the busiest times they can remember .
Weaver has been with Recoil since its opening and Hospedales joined the team in May 2022 .
“ It has been such a great experience watching everyone ’ s reactions to the new games and the layout ,” Weaver said .
Hospedales said , “ Since the launching of the virtual reality feature , we have seen an increase in college students and adults that come in which I think will continue with the arcade expansion .”
They said one child earned 6,000 tickets during opening weekend , giving that child the opportunity to purchase any item in the redemption store .
Coggins said the redemption store allows children to manage their shopping experience .
Recoil is the largest trampoline park and arcade in South Georgia at 5,400 square feet . The park offers multiple experiences to Valdosta and surrounding counties .
Since opening in 2019 , Recoil has increased from 21 employees to over 50 employees with each year of expansion .
Coggins said Valdosta and the surrounding counties have been extremely supportive ; however , people have traveled from all over to jump and play .
“ Our reach truly expands beyond what our metropolitan area is ,” Coggins said , “ We want to be the premier place for good , clean , affordable fun in South Georgia .”
According to Valdosta Tourism Authority Recoil is the number two attraction for people in Valdosta . With at least 56 % of customers from outside of Valdosta - Lowndes County , according to Coggins .
Recoil has doubled the number of arcade games since opening in January and the Hyperdeck virtual reality experience has received a new Zombie game .
Coggins said , “ We have done a great job with expansion . Birthdays and young children are our core but expansion has opened the opportunity for older children and adults which increases the age for fun .”
He enjoys seeing parents join in on the fun at the arcade , teenagers enjoy virtual reality and laser tag games , and even couples come for date night to join the fun .
“ We have shown that things will work in Valdosta and we are constantly looking for what to do next to make the experience even better ,” Coggins said .
