Voted the No . 1 swimming hole in the nation by USA Today , the spring flows into a sparkling pool that discharges into a 150-foot bank that runs to the Withlacoochee River . The spring is also sprawling with wildlife like catfish and turtles and has a scenic nature trail alongside the water that lets you take in its beauty . This spot is perfect for a swim on a hot day or going on a cave dive if you ’ re feeling adventurous .
