She said GreatHER Purpose is all about building relationships and girl power .
For the next chapter of her life , she plans to continue learning , growing and celebrating others .
“ If someone would have told me I would be here 10 years ago , I would never have believed them ,” Denton said . “ When you align yourself with your purpose you don ’ t get caught up on the negative .”
“ I had to have a humble conversation with myself and realize that my trials and tribulations can help other people overcome .”
Sharah ’ Denton is the mother of Jalen and Laila Denton .
The loss of her mother and her divorce led her to reconnect with herself and her passions through a different platform .
“ GreatHER Purpose podcast saved me from myself ,” she said . “ I had to understand that everything that did and was happening to me was preparing me for my life now .”
As the platform grew , she seized the opportunity to give other women a platform to share their journey as wives , mothers , entrepreneurs or simply an outlet to be vulnerable .
“ I had to have a humble conversation with myself and realize that my trials and tribulations can help other people overcome ,” she said .
Last year , she hosted the first GreatHER Purpose summit in Valdosta with women who were featured on the first season of her podcast . In May 2022 , she hosted the second summit in Atlanta with the women whom she connected with there through her podcast .
“ When one woman is doing great , then we are all doing great ,” Denton said . “ It does not hurt to support another woman while you are on your journey .”
