Califf , a mother herself , knows the importance of making holiday memories and says the store caters to formal and casual styles .
“ My kids are ten and eight ; they don ’ t want to match anymore ,” she laughs . “ But the younger kids want to match , and you want them to have the cute outfits on .”
Toads and Teacups is known for its wide selection of shoes , a tradition dating back to the store ’ s early days .
“ Shoes are still a big part of
what we do ,” says Califf . “ We fit every child properly , making sure they leave with shoes that are the right size and comfortable . It ’ s something that sets us apart .”
What keeps families coming back year after year , especially for holiday shopping , is the personalized experience Toads and Teacups offers .
“ People come in needing to get ready for Christmas pictures , and we help them with the whole look — from the outfits to the shoes to the accessories ,” Califf says . “ We love being part of those special moments , and it ’ s fun seeing families come in .”
Beyond the clothing and shoes , Toads and Teacups prides itself on creating a welcoming , family-friendly atmosphere . “ We want parents to feel comfortable bringing their kids in ,” Califf shares . “ Our staff is great with children ; we make it fun for them to try on clothes and shoes .”
