Walker ’ s journey as an artist began with a bachelor ’ s degree in fine arts from Virginia Commonwealth University , followed by a master ’ s degree in fine arts from Marywood University . His work is now showcased in galleries across the United States .
At home , Walker ’ s studio is a creative haven . The space is filled with his own work as
well as pieces collected by his family . One standout feature is an antique printing press , which Evelyn has used in graphic design courses she ’ s taught at Valdosta State University .
Walker ’ s work continues to reach new audiences , with upcoming exhibitions scheduled for next year . Locally , his art will be showcased at the Turner Center for the Arts , offering the community an opportunity to experience his celebrated landscapes firsthand . Additionally , Walker will present a collection of his work in Alexandria , Virginia .
Through his roles as an artist and advocate , Walker continues to make a significant impact on South Georgia ’ s art scene , blending his personal passion for painting with his commitment to fostering public appreciation for the arts .
