She describes the process as a sensory journey : “ Going out and leaving the studio , leaving the house , putting your phone on do not disturb or not having service , and going to a location that inspires you and painting that specific landscape within the time frame of the light is something that challenges me . It takes all five senses and condenses it into a painting .”

As she looks to the future , Wacter dreams of dedicating more time to personal projects , including a long-awaited solo exhibition of landscapes . Her ultimate goal is to inspire others with her work while finding new ways to challenge herself as an artist .
