First Annual Rags to Riches event in May 2015 . The concept is based on the Cinderella story . Local seniors and juniors fill out an application and write an essay on why they deserve to win an all expenses paid prom .
Beautiful Christmas was hosted at the Mildred Hunter Center Dec . 18 , 2021 . They gave out toys , clothes and shoes .
This year the coat drive will be integrated into the Christmas giveaways .
Beautiful Creations places boxes around the community to collect new and gently used coats .
The coats are typically donated to schoolchildren .
“ No donation is too big or too small so we encourage anyone that wants to help , to help . Volunteers vary by the event , but I have at least 15-20 committed to every event .”
Chanel is not done with creating community initiatives .
“ I hope to expand and grow to open a center for children . I want it to be open after-school and on weekends for children to be able to have a positive outlet .”
