This sculpture was gifted to the community by the Public Arts Advisory Committee , 2013
A bronze sculpture depicting a young scholar sitting on top of the world , viewing a document with a looking glass & thirsty for knowledge . It was placed in honor of the new 100 Black Men Of Valdosta Headquarters . This was a historic home , renovated and saved from demolition .
