Andes (2014). Maestría en diseño
de proyectos arquitectónicos por el
Politécnico de Milán (2019) con la
tesis “Pierre Jeanneret and Domestic
Space: The government houses of
Chandigarh”. Su investigación principal
se refiere a la historia y análisis de la
arquitectura moderna, centrado en el
estudio de Pierre Jeanneret. Actualmente
ejerce la profesión como coordinador
de proyectos residenciales en
Milán.
Resumen
Las fotografías que Pierre Jeanneret compone y toma entre 1953 y 1956 en
el patio trasero de su casa en Chandigarh, son uno de los muchos ejemplos
para entender cómo lo aprendido y entendido por parte del arquitecto, tras
su llegada a la India en 1951, fue fundamental a la hora de proyectar y construir
la nueva capital del Punjab.
Este artículo propone un análisis crítico y descriptivo a partir de la información
recopilada en documentos y fotografías originales del autor, para
hacer explícitas algunas relaciones de lugar, orden y significado; y como
estas resultan en la construcción del espacio doméstico propio del lugar.

Abstract
Some photographs that Pierre Jeanneret composed and took between
1953-1956 in the backyard of his house in Chandigarh, are one of the many
examples to understand how the knowledge and understanding of the architect
about the site, on his arrival in India in 1951, was fundamental at the
moment of projecting and building in the new capital of the Punjab.
This article proposes a critical and descriptive analysis of photography based
on the information compiled in documents and original photographs by
the author, to make explicit some relationships of place, order and meaning,
and how these result in the construction of the domestic space of the place.
