2016 WEDDING TRADITIONS WINNERS
You often hear of people having horrible experiences with wedding coordinators, well not us. From the moment we met Krystal and the Emerald Isle Realty and A Seaside Wedding and Events staff we knew they were a good match! Having looked at several venues, we were finally introduced to the Boat House, which we knew would be the perfect spot for our fairy tale wedding. The location offered not only the beach, but also the rustic feel we were going for while also accommodating all of our friends and family. From being able to enjoy the company of our out of town guests, to finalizing last minute wedding arrangements, the Boat House was the most perfect place.
Our wedding day had arrived and I wasn’ t sure how stressed out Craig or I would be, but shortly after waking up I knew we had nothing to worry about because the team was there and taking charge. While he got ready across the street, I was able to enjoy the morning and part of the afternoon lounging around with my bridal party as we all got dolled up and ready for the ceremony. The hair and makeup artist came highly recommended from our lovely wedding coordinator and I must say it’ s the first time ever having my hair / makeup done professionally and actually feeling like a princess when I was done. The one thing I still had left to do was put on my wedding gown. Putting on my gown
made it that much more real that I was about to marry my best friend of 8 years and that today would be the start of our lives together. Once my dress was on and I looked in the mirror I was baffled by what I saw. All the hard work that not only I had put into planning our special day, but the help that was given by so many of the staff, was worth feeling as good as I did at that moment.
Finally the moment Craig and I had been waiting for!!! When I walked down the aisle I was in awe at how beautifully set up everything was. I was so anxious to get down the aisle to my groom that both of my father’ s told me I needed to slow down. Once I made it to my soon to be husband I couldn’ t help but cry tears of happiness. Being together since college and having many ups and downs along the way, we were finally tying the knot. During the ceremony I remember thinking to myself how lucky I was to have such a dream wedding, a wedding where nothing went wrong. Our wedding was so much fun even the neighbors came over and partook in dancing, drinking and photo booth shenanigans. After all, it’ s not a wedding without the wedding crashers!
Our dream wedding came true because of the staff at Emerald Isle Realty and for that we will forever be grateful!
