… but testaments and praise from experts across the country prove otherwise .

In an article – featured in one of the world ’ s premier medical journals - a team of anti-vaping researchers levied a series of accusations against e-cigarettes .
Published in The Lancet , the report dismissed lifesaving vaping products as ‘ the next big income generator for the tobacco industry ’.
It claimed that ‘ the immediate toxic effects of e-cigarettes far outweigh those of conventional cigarettes ’ and warned that vaping could discourage smokers from trying conventional nicotine replacement products .
The article , titled ‘ Another Public Health Catastrophe ’ claimed there was ‘ no robust evidence ’ that vaping helped smokers quit and said NHS e-cigarette prescriptions would only tarnish the UK ’ s ‘ proud track record in smoking cessation ’. leaders and health campaigners welcomed the opportunity for smokers to be prescribed e-cigarettes to help them quit smoking .
