SHOULD WE STILL CONTINUE WITH THE CAMPAIGN AND WHY

UNANIMOUS YES

• The credibility and history of OBR are seen to be of huge value and are absolutely essential to mobilizing communities
• It is a seat of support, action, teaching, and modeling on how to stand together in the face of oppression upon our minds, bodies and souls
• There is still a lot of work to be done, we cannot stop now
• The impact of the campaign is evident in our communities – it is the only artistic movement that can move people into action
• It serves as a vital platform for ongoing awareness, politicization and action
• It is advocacy, mobilization, solidarity-building and systemic change all in one
• It gives everyone the freedom to speak politics safely, within creative means, which allows us to do our work
• OBR remains relevant because it evolves, flows, responds, moves, deepens
• It is both local and global – and not many movements are both
• It puts the most marginalized at the forefront to lead and be heard
• We need OBR because our societies and the earth are leaning more toward annihilation and destruction
• OBR is consistent and stands out as one of the few, if not the only global movement to consistently prioritize the safety and sacredness of women’ s bodies
• We have not attained our freedom yet
