THE GLOBAL COORDINATORS
are activists around the world who are engaging their communities , cities , countries , and regions to be a part of One Billion Rising . As long-time activists and V-Day organizers working to end violence against women and girls , they have the skills , networks and ability to help guide local organizations , individuals , lawyers , unions , and alliances to be part of the campaign . These coordinators , together with their network groups , took the lead in their own countries and communities on how to envision and implement the campaign and did a breathtaking job of highlighting their local contexts within the larger campaign .
