LA MEETING
On October 28, after the Harvey Weinstein
scandal broke, V-Day, the African American
Policy Forum and Peace Over Violence hosted
- at UCLA Law School - a gathering of 40
survivors, people in the industry, our board,
legal minds, and advocates to have a deep
conversation and strategize about concrete
next steps to make sure that another Harvey
Weinstein doesn’t happen and, if it does, it
won’t take twenty years to stop him.
The conversation was profoundly moving,
with many sharing their own experiences
of harassment and abuse.
