OBR GLOBAL COORDINATORS
The global coordinators are activists around the world who are engaging their communities, cities, countries, and regions / networks,
and ability / unions, and alliances to be part of One Billion Rising. As long-time activists and OBR and V-Day organizers working to
end violence against women and girls, they have the political consciousness, skills, leadership, networks and ability to help guide
organizations, individuals, unions and alliance to be part of the campaign – and help build solidarity with other social movements.
Together with their extensive network groups, the global coordinators took the lead in their own countries and regions on how to
envision and implement the campaign and the theme, highlighting their local contexts with the larger campaign.
