EXPLOITATION
The “EXPLOITATION” theme continued to
expand the Risings from sexual and physical
violence deeper into focusing on neo-liberal
policies that create and escalate POVERTY.
This year saw Risings also putting a sharper
focus on lesser seen — but just as deeply felt
— socio-economic attacks and deprivations
of basic rights for women.
