Depending on the season, 180-280 workers are
employed at V-World Farm. 20,000 trees have been
planted. The farm grows a bounty of fruits and
vegetables, and has livestock like goats and pigs.
In February, the farm was the focal point of V-Day
Congo’s OBR activities, where activists launched
their action to call for the GREEN REVOLUTION. They
called on the world to look at what is happening to
Mother Earth from different perspectives — from
planting trees to controlling natural resources to
eradicating poverty and malnutrition.
