MARKING ITS 5-YEAR ANNIVERSARY IN JUNE 2016,
the City of Joy continues to shine & thrive. 849 women leaders have
graduated through 10 class cycles spanning 57 villages across the DRC.
By the end of 2017, over 1000 women will have graduated from City of Joy.
Brave, stunning women emerged from the program after
a six month immersion in psychotherapeutic healing,
educational, arts, and leadership classes. They have
accepted themselves. They graduate and return to
their communities healed from their trauma.
