DANCING ON HURT FEET
In December, Eve and One Billion Rising presented a performance poetry
project at The Culture Project at The Lynn Redgrave Theater, featuring the
innovative work of Aja Monet, Gina Loring & Jaha Zainabu.
The show platformed vital voices, out from the margins and on to center
stage, in a celebration of black womanhood that embraced individuality
with integrity, solidarity, and humor. The evening was sold out and received
an amazing response by audience members.
